Flow Smooth Jazz is a smooth jazz radio station from San Diego. It runs all day, every day. Twice every weekday I sit in live, pick the songs, and say a few words between them. Not many. The music is the point.
Not background music. Company.
Put it on and forget to turn it off. Like working next to someone who's got great taste and knows when to be quiet. That's what the station is for, whether you're at a desk, in the car, or cooking dinner.
The artists get something back.
Every song we play is logged. Every artist has a page with what we've played, how often, the live sets they've been in, and where they're playing next. When you buy a track or a ticket through the site, the artist gets their share and the station gets a little toward its licenses.
